當生命結束後，我們會發生什麼變化呢？根據物理定律，所有物質和能量都不能被製造或摧毁，他們只會在宇宙中循環再用。從無數的瀕死經驗和出體經驗的學術研究得知，意識似乎可以獨立於軀殼外存在，並且有近乎上帝視角的感知能力。如果軀殼只是假象，那麼我們的本體究竟是什麼？究竟什麼是真實呢？諾貝爾物理學得主 Niels Bohr 曾道：「我們稱之為真實的一切, 都是由不能被視為真實的事物構成的。」事實上，人類、動物、植物、水、空氣，甚至所有物質都是來自宇宙大爆炸的原物質，而我們都是由其他生命循環再用的原子構成, 那麼，從進化觀點來看，宇宙萬物豈非是互聯的，並享有共同命運？
What happens when life comes to an end? According to the laws of thermodynamics, matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed, but only change forms and be repurposed.
