Since my great-grandfather's time, my family has dispersed across Peru, Ecuador, Malaysia, Australia, the United States and Canada in pursuit of better lives and freedom. Drawing from my personal journal since childhood, this account intertwines the diaspora of four generations within the socio-cultural backdrop that spans from the first half of the twentieth century to the present day.
