While in solitary confinement during the pandemic, grandpa Chu suddenly wishes his dinner could turn back into a companion. Commissioned by the Hong Kong Vegfest 2020 during the lockdown, the online broadcast program The Legend of the Chick asks the question of what the human soul needs most in dire circumstances -- a friend or a piece of food?
